The ceremonies will be held at the Tex Turner Arena on the main campus in Harrogate, Tennessee, with the Silver Cohort at 10:00 AM and the Blue Cohort at 1:00 PM. A clear bag policy will be enforced for all attendees.

During Revolutionary S.T.E.A.M. at the Museum, students will travel through the Abraham Lincoln Library & Museum, rotating through interactive S.T.E.A.M. stations that bring the world of the American Revolution to life.

Students will explore how Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math were part of everyday life during the Revolutionary era. Through hands-on activities, demonstrations, experiments, and historical challenges, students will discover that innovation was just as important in 1776 as it is today! ⚙

Two Days of Revolutionary Discovery! October 1 & 2 | 8:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m.

This is a 1-day workshop, it will take place on October 10th from 9am to 12pm at the LMU Center for the Arts in Cumberland Gap, TN.

You will be required to bring the fabric of your choice for this workshop. Sewing machines are provided, but please indicate if you are bringing your own on the order form.

In this workshop, join local sewer Katrina Jolley for this 1-day workshop. Participants will learn basic sewing machine skills. They will also sew a drawstring laundry bag and a pair of pajama pants. Participants will need to bring 3 yards of their own fabric for the pajama pants so that everyone's preferences are met.

This workshop will take place on October 10th from 9am to 12pm. This workshop is for those ages 18 and up. Scholarships are available. If you have any questions about this event or scholarships, contact Grace Mahieu at grace.mahieu@LMUnet.edu or 423-869-7423.

This Halloween, step into the somber world of Victorian mourning and discover the rituals that surrounded death in the nineteenth century, a world Abraham and Mary Lincoln knew all too well. Mary Lincoln endured unimaginable tragedy. She buried three of her four sons, mourned her husband, the president, struck down by an assassin's bullet, while sitting beside him, and struggled through grief in an era when death was a constant companion. Victorian Americans developed elaborate customs to honor the dead, preserve memories, and confront mortality in ways that can seem haunting to modern audiences.

The White Coat Ceremony is an important public demonstration of a student’s commitment to patient care and professionalism. Each student is presented and “robed” with his or her short white laboratory coat. The ceremony is a rite of passage signifying the student has demonstrated the qualities and abilities to provide competent care and can move on to the next phase of training.

Members of the Chorus, directed by Hannah Haynes, have prepared throughout the semester for this concert and wish to share their songs with everyone in the LMU family, and beyond.

The Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) annual free performance by the Knoxville Symphony Chamber Orchestra (KSCO) at 7 p.m.

The KCSO is a smaller ensemble of Knoxville Symphony musicians who perform in smaller venues. The mission of the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra (KSO) is to develop and sustain a symphony orchestra of the highest artistic standards and to reach East Tennessee audiences of all ages by providing excellence in musical performance and education programs. The LMU concert will feature a variety of classical Christmas selections. Admission to the concert is free for everyone.
