In this workshop, join master broom maker Amelia Galvas for this 5-day workshop and learn the tradition of handbroom making. Participants will learn how to make various styles of handbooms. Participants will make several brooms to take home and enjoy. This workshop will take place on June 16th through the 20th from 6pm to 9pm each day. This workshop is for those ages 18 and up. This workshop is funded in part by a grant from South Arts in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts and South Arts. Scholarships are available.
