Lincoln Memorial University-Doctor of Occupational Therapy Program (OTD), will be hosting a White Coat Ceremony for the Class of 2027 at the Knoxville Convention Center on Friday, October 4.

The White Coat Ceremony is a rite of passage for many health care professions, including occupational therapy programs. The ritual provides an opportunity to reflect on the importance of humanism in occupational therapy practice and client-centered care. The students of the Class of 2027 will be presented with the white laboratory coat to signify they have demonstrated the knowledge, skills and attitudes to move on to the next phase of training within the occupational therapy program.
